I really love hearing Brian Houston‘s songs, they are stories made into a harmonious, sweet sounding poetry.

“Sugar Queen” is bold, sang from the heart and from a personal experience.

We all have been affected by Cancer and I know personally how hard it can be for families and friends so listening to Brian’s song makes me hopeful.

Today I read these words

“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalms 34:18 NIV11)

When songs are sung with honesty, grace and love, then we cannot ignore its healing power, they are capable of lifting any broken spirit.
