FIRST SUNDAY 18th OF LENT
““Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.”
(Isaiah 55,1-2 NIV)
The questions of Lent are:
What are we doing?
Are we working for that which does not satisfy?
Are we spending for that which is not bread?1
May this Sunday, as we come together for worship, be satisfied with the fullness of God.
May we come thirsty and drink from the living waters and hungry to be fed with his Word.
May we see the need of Christ.
May we experience his forgiveness and assurance.
