SECOND MONDAY 26th OF LENT
“But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honour because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.” (Hebrews 2,9-10 NIV11-GKE)
Monday. A new day and another week that started on Sunday, where we got to rest and gathered around brothers and sisters to worship and hear the Word of God. Therefore, there is no better way to start this week than by reminding ourselves of who Jesus was and who Jesus is. He became like us so that, by the Grace of God, tasted death in order to bring God the Glory, and in doing so, we became the object of his Glory.
I want to encourage you to read Hebrews 1-10 The death of Jesus provided a marvellous display of divine grace. God permitted his Son to endure suffering, and the Son willingly offered himself.[1]
