SECOND WEDNESDAY 28th OF LENT
“But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.” (Hebrews 3,6 NIV11-GKE)
Last week, I visited a family who rebuilt their house, which looks amazing. I am in awe of the patience, skills and creativity that is given and released. Jesus is the master of the house that he fills with his glory and majesty. This means that the household over which Jesus is faithful is the household he built by shedding his blood for sinners.[1]
The writer of Hebrews tells us we are his household! What if we release the patience, skills and creativity to make this house a home for his Spirit to dwell and for us to grow? I want to encourage you to read Hebrews 3:1-6
