FOURTH SUNDAY 17th/ MARCH OF LENT
“I will declare your name to my people; in the assembly I will praise you.”
(Psalm 22,22 NIV11-GKE)
“In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. He says, “I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters; in the assembly I will sing your praises.””
(Hebrews 2,10-12 NIV11-GKE)
St. Patrick’s Day
Let these words sink in your heart, and let these Words from the Lord move you to take action. Come and gather with your brothers and sisters this Sunday. We gather because it is Jesus’ desire, and he has enabled us to come together. It is not something that you and I have done to merit coming to Church; we come because he paid a great price so that we can gather and worship him.
God is at the centre of our lives; our true life is found only in you. May we let go of all that is not life, all that is not you, that we may live in that freedom granted through the cross. Amen.1
