Learn – Inspiration – Vision – Encounter

The Holy Spirit saves in at least two ways. The first one is active in turning us to Christ. He does this by convicting us and dwelling on us.

Yet, the word safe in Greek is much richer and conveys much more than a saving act. The best way to understand the concept of salvation is to think that being saved by Christ means experiencing deliverance, healing, and restoration. All these three words are conveyed within the word salvation, Sozo.
Therefore, the Holy Spirit is essential in bringing deliverance, healing and restoration. We see this in Jesus on mission, Luke tells that:

There are many instances in the New Testament where we see this played out as Jesus heals, delivers and restores. He does that from a place of anointing from the Holy Spirit. If this was how God ordained Jesus’ ministry to function, then this is not just for the few or the most respected ones, but for you and me. Yes, we cannot claim Jesus’ mission as ours, but we can carry on his mission as the same Spirit that anointed Jesus, which is the same Spirit that fell on Pentecost and filled the disciples.
This was so strong that it felt like a strong wind entered the room where they were praying. The earth moved, and tongues of fire rested on them.
So, let us remember that we are saved by being healed, delivered, and restored.
Let us live lives of constant learning, inspiration, a strong vision of Jesus, and equipping to serve Him.
