Unlocking Inner Strength Through Faith

Learn – Inspiration – Vision – Encounter

I want to call out to our inner strength—the strength that makes us decide and choose, enables us to walk in a certain direction and helps us live. For those who follow Jesus’ teachings, it is to walk in a manner worthy of his calling.
We all learn to walk; we have in us that it is part of the natural process of life. We are all born with the capacity to do so, yet once we start walking, a level of independence is gained. Let me explain what I mean: When my firstborn was born and started to take his first steps and then walk, and when he mastered that, he ran, and I tried to catch him. He discovered a level of independence that he did not know he had. He had it; he was born with the ability to walk, and only when he started to grow, and his legs and joints became much stronger he started to balance; the balance turned into steps, and he was off. By age two, he stood up and walk by himself.
But walking like Jesus did and doing what he did takes time. It is a process, like learning to walk. As we learn to walk, we stumble and fall, then get up again and go. Some of us find it hard to get up and go, even though a light has been switched on inside us. Our spirituality became alive once we encountered the Spirit of God, who brought with him a new way of living and much power.

So, what makes us more vital is the Person of the Holy Spirit living in us. He is our inner strength, and we are his jars of clay.
