God Encounters – 1st Time Meeting Jesus

IMG_0194.jpgIt was the last day of Cultivate Revival Conference  and I was so hungry for the presence of God that I remember asking God to set my heart ablaze with His Word, Presence and Power. His Word was so present in my mind, spirit and heart. ““You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.” (Matthew 5:6 MESSAGE).

Somehow  it happened during worship, I felt God’s power all through me and I heard these words in my mind, heart and spirit: ““Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:3 NIV11). I surrendered to his love, I was totally convicted, and totally lost in His Presence.

As I begun to pray for people I came across an amazing couple. I noticed that she was crying but it was not a cry of joy but of disappointment. She shared with me her pain and as I listened the Lord gave so much compassion for her and her husband.

I was finishing praying when I realised that this amazing wife had given her life to the Lord a long time ago. So I asked her if she wanted to recommit her life to Jesus again and she said yes with a beautiful smile. We prayed together and the Lord’s Presence was so powerful all over her.  When we finished I turned to her husband asking him if he wanted to pray with me to make Jesus Lord of his life and he said yes. So we prayed together and the Holy Spirit came upon him in the most beautiful way, it was like Jesus standing next to him and telling him how much the Father God loves him and how much Jesus honours his relationship with his wife.

As I moved away I turned around I saw them with their arms lifted up in adoration, wonder and love toward God. It was for me the most powerful and significant point of the conference, to cultivate revival in order to bring people to Jesus. This is the best healing, this is best prophetic word, when people encounter Jesus and Jesus becomes their Lord.

It has been 10 days since we gathered in 1st Bangor Presbyterian Church for the Global Awakening Cultivate Revival Conference. We had three amazing days enjoying God’s Word, Presence, and Power.

Thank you to all of you who came, those who led worship, our speakers, to 1st Bangor Presbyterian family and to the Global Awakening family.
