You set me free, so I shout out your name! That is a line from a worship song that resonates with me in a deep way. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions, leaving the Living Room and North Belfast to County Down.
We still have so many things to get unpack and to get used to, but we are here for the long term and we are looking forward to becoming more and more part of this community.
My installation was a great event, the Presence of the Lord was there, I broke down more than a couple of times, just could not hold the emotions and the sense of the Presence of God manifested through our time of worship.
In 1st Ballynahinch PCI, we are blessed to have a great worship team and I am blessed to be able to share my passion with them.
We have received beautiful welcoming cards and gifts, so Thank You!!
I love the presence of God and I love this word = MORE! Because there is always more that God wants us to give us, there is an overflowing fountain or river that carries His Presence and I am thirsty and hungry to learn, to experience, to see, to taste that He is Good.
The Psalmist wrote “Taste and see that the Lord is good”. Once you have tested and seen his goodness, there is no turning back but only moving forward to experience more revelation of his character. He loves us, he is pleased with us and we are his! His word becomes alive, His word should lead us to an Encounter with Jesus, if it doesn’t then it becomes a good intellectual exercise.
My first Sunday was great, I loved it, I walked to church, praying and anticipating that He will be there and He came! It was a real blessing to serve. I shared about my three favourite words, which are Encounter, Commissioning and Power. All those who have encountered God have also been Commission and Empowered. It is a Biblical pattern, you see it in the life of Moses and Paul.
There is so much more to learn, to experience, people to meet, to share his love and be carriers of his presence. I know that He loves me and I know that he calls me his son. There is so much more He wants us to bless us with as a church, as families as a community, there is so much more!
So, we would love for you to join us every Sunday @ 11:00!
