Directionless?

What now?
I am so sick and tired of this situation?
When is this going to end?
I feel hopeless!

These are the questions that I find myself asking. Two weeks off school and four weeks off for so many of our local business, which there is no doubt will bring a lot of stress.
What are we to do? I need to be reminded that hopeless is anti-Christ. It is a constant battle that I fight against, and sometimes I hear myself saying and repeating the hopeless scripts that we hear frequently and consistently. Please, do not think I am escaping reality that would be irresponsible.

My responsibility is to discern what God is saying to us and believe what He says.
How do we do that? We do it by turning to his Word, it is that simple, and we do so in the expectation that He will speak to us daily. I am convinced that we followers of Christ, those of us who have accepted his Lordship need to live by his decrees. If we say that we are a citizen of His Kingdom and not act and believe His Word, then we will be pulled from one direction to another, and we can become directionless.
This morning I read these words:
“Direct me in the path of your commands, for there, I find delight.” (Psalm 119:35 NIV11)
This is a dialogue, this is prayer, and it is merely asking to have our direction corrected. We don’t need a new direction, and we are not directionless. All we need is to be placed towards the direction of His Word. “Guide me down the road of your commandments; I love traveling this freeway!” (Psalm 119:35 MESSAGE). Most of us are familiar with term Sat-Nav; well, this is Heaven’ s-Nav.
