The religious mindset gets easily offended when we come to Jesus just as we are, with unclean hands! Unclean hands are precious!
Having something to eat with Jesus is what really matters! Did he say that he will prepare a meal in the presence of our not so good friends? Intimacy with him is what qualifies us.
“So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?”” (Mark 7:5 NIV11)
