I am so happy to see you!

I love when people say that to me and I love it even more when I say it to people!

During my time onboard the Logos 2 we experienced high and strong winds, high and powerful waves, rough seas and more than one storm! It was not fun, we were literally swinging back and forth, moving from left to right! It was fun having lunch, (I thought), I had to hold on to my plate with one hand and use the other to eat!!

Every time I read John 6:20 it becomes real to me, it reminds me that He was there with me, on the rough seas, in the middle of the storms.  But it also  promises me that He will be there when I will be facing strong winds. When Jesus said “It is I, don’t be afraid” he says it with a profound and power authority that can be experienced in the physical world. I know this because like the disciples I was able to say ” I am so happy to see you!

The most effective way to remove the fears of our lives is by a supernatural act and Jesus did that! He walked on water, breaking the natural laws so that you and I can hear him say “It is I, don’t be afraid”

“But he said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.”Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.” (John 6:20–21 ESV)
