Be filled! I am about to officiate a funeral this afternoon and these words from Jesus really spoke to me and made reflect on what we fill our lives with!

Jesus promised us that if we are hungry and thirsty for righteousness we will be filled, but with what?

I don’t think he meant that we will become more righteous than we already are, we can not add to righteousness because it was given to us by Christ.

To be hungry and thirsty is an invitation to be filled with His Presence.

After all this Presence is eternal and does not die and doest not fade.
