I failed my driving test three times! I am not like my daughter who passed it the very first time! I am proud of her!
Many failures = lack of confidence.
Some say that this is just natural, a set back can throw us in different directions if we are not anchored on what we believe to be true. I have seen this in sports teams, churches and organisations and even in my own life.
The fact that I did not pass my driving test the very first time does not define me as a failure. I was not lacking confidence in my ability to drive but I “I failed once because I went through a red light!! – (please do not make any comments!)”
I only passed the driving test because I followed the driving test book and I did everything my instructor told me to do.
I had a mentor who showed and taught me the way. And I followed the book! = Success
Isn’t this true also in our journey of faith? Our confidence is in God, He has made it possible for us to come to Him and therefore we can have access to His Presence where we are free to hear His voice and ask Him to bless us.
Christ is our mentor the Book is our guide.
Be Blessed
One response to “I went through a red light!”
Thanks, Dario, for such an inspiring thought. Shalom, Ken
