A first response often say much about a person! The way they speak, react or deal with emotions!

Sometimes these responses are windows of the soul! They say as much the words we say and how we say them!

Jesus said that what comes out of man’s heart are some times, not the holy things but the very opposite of it!!

Jesus also said that we should have faith like a child and this morning, our intern and I took a class in one of our local primary school, and it was such a faith uplifting experience.

At the end of the presentation, the children were asked to pray, and two of them were the first ones who lifted their hands, it was such an act of faith and joy!! The prayer they prayed was the most fantastic prayer that I have heard recently from a child. It was powerful, shaking the very foundations of hell.

It was short, it was precise, it was full of grace and power! Pointing to Jesus, disclosing who he is and what he has done!

First responses really matter! I was floored, I was moved, I was ministered by the prayers of a primary class, in a primary school.

Holy Spirit is not a junior Spirit!! But He is mighty, revealing the Person of Jesus disregarding age, class, race and gender!

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”   (Matthew 18:1–3 ESV)
