The Song

“See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD GOD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.” (Isaiah 12:2 NLT-SE
“For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty saviour. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NLT-SE)

Lord, I have decided to sing, I sing your praises. My faith is renewed through your Word, and I am inspired by it, my faith is restored, my confidence in you is renewed. I trust you!

I sing to you, the Redeeming One, I sing to you because not only do I lift your name high, but I am elevated with you into your presence. And for a moment, I am where you dwell.

Worship is a place of wonder and mystery. It is where my mighty saviour dwells, where gladness and delight dwells. A place where fear is absent and a place where love rules and fills the air.

There you rejoice, there the songs are sung, and the songs of Joy strengthen me. I sing because I want to. I will do it. It is the inclination of my heart.

So, when I sing, I can also hear your songs to us, a melody that reminds me how much I am loved, protected and encouraged. A place where I am challenged as I discover and experience that your holiness is absolute.

You sing me a song because, in your eyes, I am complete, I am complete, and it is where my heart, mind, and spirit is at peace, your very own presence, peaceful presence fills me.

Angels sang a song written in heaven as they worshipped the living one, the one who was born to reconcile to God. The heavenly hosts sang glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom his favour rest! We are his favourite ones.

Be blessed.
