Powerful People need love.

Thoughts from Sunday morning at the Living Room’s Gathering

“so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,”  (Ephesians 3:16–17 NIV11)

It is through Faith that we believe that Christ is Lord, King and The Son of God. By faith we believe that He dwells in our hearts. It is by faith alone that we are saved, it is by faith that we are children of God.

Faith is the language of heaven and love is its currency.
Power without love is tyranny, it is oppressive, and is destructive.

Knowing that you are loved means you are protected and cherished. Love has an amazing capacity to overwhelm you, love speaks to your inner being telling you that you are wanted and you know it! Love has the unique capacity to speak to all our senses and all our senses are receptive to love.

Love  fuels our identity, it brings strong foundations into our lives. The power of love makes us to be rooted in Christ. In other words we cannot be moved!

Powerful people know they are loved.  The Love of God is possessive, He is a jealous God, if we let Him love us He can totally change us.
