God Encounters – Coffee @ Silvester’s

Early this morning I got coffee at Sylvester’s after 1:30 of gym work!!

As I sat to have my coffee I opened my Bible and begun to read.

Then just across me, I saw a young woman who was having a cup of coffee and a book, which looked like a Bible and with lots of colouring pencils.
I began to pray for her and asked the Lord if he wanted me to encourage her. Then I heard:  “remind her of the prophetic artistic gift that I gave  her”.
As a man of faith that I am, I finished my coffee and walked towards her but I did not say a word! I went straight to pay for my coffee and headed towards the door as quickly as I could.
I was literally outside the coffee shop when I heard a voice “go back and tell her”.nintchdbpict000319835741

So I turned back.
As I approached her I told her what I heard from the Lord and she looked at me and said, “I never come here, I am a mother of three and one of my kids is at the dentist, I am so busy and tired and I have these minutes to read my Bible and to colour my Bible with drawings that I create as I read” – (then she told me) – I used to be involved in dancing and arts in my church but now I don’t have time, what you just said means so much to me! Thank you!

Then I realised what I read while I was drinking my coffee:

“With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith” (2 Thessalonians 1:11 NIV11)
