Hope is real, it is powerful!

This week I had the privilege to speak to a group of young people from Ballynahinch High School. I only had 10 minutes to share. 

I talked about my life and how the Lord has led me to come here and become the Minister of First Ballynahinch Presbyterian Church. I share with them something about my time onboard the Ship Logos 2, where the Lord guided me to see my own Identity, Purpose and Destiny. I was drawn to Paul’s letter to the Ephesian he said:

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”  (Ephesians 2:10 ESV)

As I prepared to share with this amazing group of young people, I was reminded that we are all a Masterpiece created and designed by God. knowing that my Identity is in Him has given me great freedom. He who has given me a Purpose, which is a good one, and because He is good my Destiny is to walk into that purpose. To discover the beauty of who He says I am and the potential that it is found in each of us when we become the dwelling place of His Spirit. This is Hope.

Imagine if we can live our lives under that awareness!!

What if we take this onboard like I did on my time the Logos 2, and believe this with all our minds that He is shapping  us so that the structure that He is building will become a holy temple a dwelling place of His Spirit.

So hope is real, it is powerful.
